Monkey Software is an Australian, owned and operated software company specialising in Practice Management Software for the optical industry.

Today, more Optometrists and Optical Dispensers in Australia and New Zealand use the Optomate Practice Management System than any other system, and while our user community continues to grow, so does our desire to continually improve the system. Our aim is for Optomate to become a world standard in Optical Practice Management Systems.

Established in 1998 we acquired the Optomate product from another Australian software company and have since gone from strength to strength. In 2008 Monkey Software merged with Eyefinity/OfficeMate making us part of the largest Optical IT supplier to independent optometrists, in the world, supporting over 12,000 customers.

Our continued growth in the Australian and New Zealand markplace can be attributed to both our willingness to incorporate changes based on customer feedback and on-going investment in development and help desk personnel.
